LAW OF ASSUMPTION III

November 7, 2020 | Focused Thinking

INTENTION: to plan or want to do (something), to have (something) in your mind as a purpose or goal that suggests a more settled determination.

People do the planning, but the end result is from I Am. Everything a person does seems pure in his own opinion, but the I Am weighs intentions. Entrust your work to the I Am, and your planning will succeed. A person plans his way, but I Am directs his steps.

We are told by ancient texts that whether the intention of our heart is good or bad, it is weighed by the I Am. The intentions of our heart are the purposes or goals that we are DETERMINED to do. We are also told that our intentions WILL succeed if we entrust our works to the I Am.

How is this done?? What steps does it take to entrust such labor to the I Am?

Create an idea of the thing you want and assume that you have it already.  When this assumption is meditated on continually until it becomes your dominant feeling, you will invariably attain it.

Although it is impossible to physically bring about your expected end, you can always mentally bring about anything you can imagine. All of us can mentally, at this very moment, close our eyes and visualize a place other than where we are and assume that we are there. We can FEEL this to be so real that upon opening our eyes we are amazed to find that we are not actually there. This is the true art of assuming. Believe your assumption repeatedly in your mind until it has the feeling of reality. This is what it will take to unleash the powers of heaven and earth that will forge such a desire into fruition.

Let’s look at some Ancient Texts, with a Kabbalistic lens.

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

We all know that the Father’s house is in heavenly dimensions and that the Kingdom of God is within us. So, these many mansions in the Father’s house are infinite states of being that are within us. We are the very house of God and we have infinite levels of our mind. So, in this space of eternity that exists within our hearts, we could never reach the end of our God-given potentials.

Any time that I assume that I am elsewhere, I have gone and prepared a place. But if I open my eyes, the place I prepared in my mind vanishes and I am back here in the physical form that I left behind me.

So, by running my mind on a place continually (mentally), my feet will indeed follow not far behind me (physically).

You will only arrive at the places you are thinking about. Your feet can only travel the places that your mind has already been.

In all your ways acknowledge I Am, And He shall direct your paths.

Our paths are always directed and orchestrated, but we must remember to acknowledge our God-mind our higher self that it is Him who does it. Therefore, you do not have to figure out the ways and the means that will be used to move you into that place that you have mentally prepared. Simply focus on the imagination in your mind, as if you were currently there.

Next, assume the feeling of the fulfillment of your expected end by taking your thoughts captive.

Create imagery in your mind with supporting feelings in your body that convinces your own self that your desires are already answered. Make sure that your imagery and feelings are mirrored by natural affections or you may encourage conflicting results that are opposite from what you want.

The imagination will then orchestrate the means to your expected end. Never dwell on or try to figure out how, why or when…. You will block and hinder your desired outcome. Practice enjoying the FEELING of your desired outcome, as though you have already received it.

We are confident that our higher mind listens to us if we ask for anything that we want. We know that it listens to our requests. So we know that we already have what we ask for.

When you discipline your mind in this way, you then will have mastered that law of assumption.

This is the essence of true prayer and magic of manifestation!
